Our Doctors

Dr. Kunal Amin
Dr. Kunal Amin is a board certified foot and ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Amin completed an extensive three-year foot and ankle surgical residency program at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, and was appointed chief surgical resident. During that time, Dr. Amin was given an award for outstanding excellence displayed by a resident in the Orthopedic Department for his specialty. Prior to residency, he received his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and his undergraduate degree from University of the Sciences of Philadelphia.
Dr. Amin evaluates and treats the entire spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, including warts, ingrown, sprains, fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, deformity correction, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care. He treats patients of all ages and activity levels with personalized, compassionate, and superior care, consistently supported by the latest technology and evidence-based medicine. He has an expertise in managing conditions with conservative care and only uses surgical intervention when appropriate.
Dr. Amin believes in treating his patients with the best care possible and with the least invasiveness possible. His treatment protocol includes educating his patients to help them not only understand the root of their complaints but also the best solution for their lifestyle. Dr. Amin also loves to teach and guide podiatry residents and students and has been doing so since he was in medical school. He believes strongly in helping the next generation flourish in the field. Also, he has gone on multiple international medical mission trips to serve the underprivileged and wishes to continue pursuing this passion.
Dr. Amin lives in west Houston with his wife and children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, sports, reading, and doing volunteer work. Dr. Amin welcomes all new and existing patients to Cypress Foot and Ankle Center, and is available for all their foot and ankle conditions! When he is not working, he spends quality time with his wife and children at home.

Dr. Yumna Siddiqui
Dr. Yumna Siddiqui is a fellowship-trained podiatric foot and ankle surgeon. She is a Houston native, who moved to NYC to start her journey in medicine. After graduating from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, she completed residency at the Baltimore VA/Sinai Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, where she served as chief resident as well as the social media coordinator of the program. She then went on to pursue a surgical fellowship in diabetic limb salvage and Charcot reconstruction in Michigan. During those years, she underwent extensive training in the conservative and surgical treatment of foot and ankle pathologies with emphasis on minimally invasive surgery and reconstructive foot and ankle deformity correction. She comes from having a well-rounded experience in clinical and surgical training at various hospitals and outpatient settings. This has allowed her to interact with and treat patients presenting with a wide variety of pathologies from different socioeconomic backgrounds and age groups. Her treatment goal is to bring her patients back on their feet and back to the activities they enjoy.
